Another book! This time it is a Spanish book written by Marina Montero and published by Penguin Random House España.
Little bear, still sleepy, stretched and yawned twice. He sniffed the air for the smell of breakfast. What was that smell that enveloped him? Little bear and Big bear leave the den and go in search of a very special aroma. They discover many smells- tree resin, hazelnuts, honey, apples, rain, and fire ... but none of these are the right smell. Evening, when the moon peeked over the horizon and the Little bear snuggled sleepily in the warm arms of the big bear, he realises that it wasn't really a smell he was sensing, it was the sweetest thing of all - love!
Published 2nd of August! 'Rags, Hero Dog of Ww1' A True Story written by Margot Theis Raven, illustrated by me :) Published by Sleeping Bear Press.
I really loved illustrating this story. First off I love drawing dogs, secondly, it's a true story, and so heart warming. The cover is a little sad, poor little Rags gets wounded and is wrapped in bandages.
I did all the artwork digitally. The computer is an illustrator's true friend, I ain't lyin'... I don't ever want to go back to conventional paint and paper.

I bought this book for my eight year old son. We read it together though he could have managed it by himself. It was a very enjoyable read, we read it over two nights. What a lovely story about a very cheeky dog. The author really captures the attention of readers young and old. We are looking forward to her next book!

A brilliant book of Sid and all his capers. Sid is the sort of dog every home should have. Very entertaining and a pure delight for every young reader. Parents will also enjoy reading this with their younger children as they learn to read.
I loved seeing the Welsh names and the touch of the welsh language, made a nice change and a well deserved treat.

I brought this book for myself and son and daughter and it is very good. I brought this book from her youngest son who is Geraint in the story. I think that this book should be made into a movie. Tanya L James is the best children's book author that I have ever heard of.

I bought this lovely looking book for my 3 1/2 yr old daughter. It's her first book with chapters and I thought that we could read a chapter a night as her bedtime story. My daughter had a different idea in mind and wanted chapter after chapter in ONE NIGHT. It is such a lovely story with a very loveable jack russel as the main character. I would highly recommend this book.

This book was so great my son ended up wanting it read in one session ! The characterisation of the dog is so cute and it contains plenty of humour ! The illustrations are gorgeous and it was just the perfect length to keep my almost seven year old's interest. Would be a perfect beginning chapter book for early readers also. Can't recommend it highly enough a really lovely read for boys or girls :)
