A few new illustrations for the 'Milly Teggle' portfolio. Working as my alter-ego Milly Teggle I try to simplify my characters and fill my work with texture.

I have to say, although the style looks more simple compared to my normal illustration style, it still takes ages to get it to look how I want.

I was very pleased with the cat on the right's face. In one of the Ladybird Books I illustrated- 'Peter and the Wolf', I had a similar character... ​you can check it here
