I’ve quietly tiptoed back onto eBay with some original artwork, nothing grand, just small character drawings, the sort that spill out of my pencils when I’m left to my own devices. I’ve been without illustration work for over a year now, and if I’m honest it's a bit unsettling. The fire’s not quite what it used to be at 61, but the embers are still warm, and drawing for my own amusement feels like the right way to coax them back to life. So I’ve started listing a few older pieces- little creatures, little moments, at a very gentle price. A £5 starting bid, or £30 if someone wants to whisk a piece away immediately. It feels better to let them out into the world than leave them tucked in a drawer, forgotten and gathering dust. If you enjoy small, characterful drawings, or you simply fancy a wander through what I’ve been up to, you’re welcome to have a look. No pressure, no fanfare, just me, making art again, and hoping it finds the right homes. The Hatter and the March Hare, deep in nonsensical debate, both using the dormouse’s head as a convenient elbow‑rest. The dormouse, half‑asleep and wholly unimpressed, gazes up with the weary patience of someone who knows this tea party isn’t getting any saner. A 7x5 inch drawing, unframed and delightfully deranged.
